JV Squash Bounces Back against Deerfield

DEERFIELD, Mass. – February 14, 2024 – JV Squash faced Deerfield Academy for the third and final time on Wednesday. Their hometown opponents had been their toughest adversary all season, and Green Wave victory seemed all but assured when the Eagles lost their first four matches of the day.

Ealgebrook stayed calm under pressure, however, and reeled off wins in the remaining seven spots to secure a great 7-4 triumph.

Congratulations to the JV Squash team for an undefeated 8-0 season!! Each player improved tremendously, played fair, and supported the team throughout the season. Our fifth-formers are well-positioned to join the varsity next year. 

JV Squash has two more challenge matches to determine our final ladder standing, and the team will send a few players to join the Thirds Squash next Thursday for their final match against Bement.
