Varsity basketball vs. Williston Northampton

On Wednesday afternoon the Eaglebrook Varsity basketball team hosted the Wildcats from Williston Northampton. The Eagles started the game quickly as their defense caused multiple early turnovers for Williston, helping Eaglebrook jump out to a 10-2 lead. From that point on Eaglebrook maintained the lead, weathering a number of runs during the first half of the game. Midway through the third quarter Eaglebrook's defense again created turnovers; which gave the Eagles a bit more breathing room, ballooning the lead to 19 points. Williston continued to play aggressively, cutting into the lead occasionally, but in the end, the Eagles walked off with a 15-point victory, 57-42. Next is a trip to Belmont Hill on Saturday where Eaglebrook will play in the Belmont Hill Invitational.
