Eaglebrook came out firing on all cylinders this Saturday against the Cougars of Cardigan. 3-point shots were falling and stealing on the defensive end led to lay-ups in transition offense. The zone defense had good movement and was able to shut down Cardigan in the first half. Eaglebrook forwards did an excellent job shutting off driving lanes and boxing out Cardigan’s big men. Cardigan had a run in the second half that brought Eaglebrook’s lead down to twelve. However, Eaglebrook showed grit and the team rallied with a flurry of baskets that sealed the game.
