Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
The Eaglebrook Varsity basketball team took the court Monday, January 31 against Cardigan for the first time since 2019-20. The game did not disappoint as there were multiple lead changes and momentum swings and at the final buzzer, the Eagles prevailed with a 57-55 win. The Eagles struggled to start the game with a new lineup due to a shortened roster, however, the players who were thrust into bigger roles each stepped up. In this close game solid team defense, consistent free-throw shooting, and timely rebounding were key to the Eagles' eventual success. Although they built up a lead towards the end of the game, the Eagles will continue to work on their focus and composure as they played tight down the stretch. The Varsity basketball team looks forward to hosting the Lawrence Basketball Club during Winter Carnival.
