Varsity Baseball v. Deerfield Academy

Eaglebrook fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-1 loss to Deerfield Academy on Monday afternoon. After a tight contest throughout the opening four frames, Deerfield broke the game open with five runs in the fifth inning sealing the game. Eaglebrook put a lot of balls in play as a team, but ultimately couldn't muster enough offense to score. Carson Cleage went 2-for-3 to lead the Brookies in hits and Hans Forselius and James Clavel split the game on the hill. Eaglebrook goes on the road later this week, facing Suffield away on Thursday, and Rectory on Saturday.
