About Our Library

The James S. Copley Library at Eaglebrook School was a gift of Mr. James S. Copley, publisher and Eaglebrook parent. It is centrally located in the Learning Center and has received awards for its open, welcoming architecture with two window walls and ample space for quiet reading and studying.
The library is open throughout the academic day, during afternoon and evening study halls, and at designated times during the weekend. The Copley Library has been extremely well-supported by the school and has exceptional resources for a middle school library, including:

  • Over 17,000 print books.
  • Access to 4,000+ eBooks and Audiobooks through our membership with the Commonwealth eBook Collection.
  • Over 300 audiobooks on CD (CD players available for loan).
  • Approximately 25 magazine subscriptions and 4 newspaper subscriptions.
  • A selection of online research databases aligned with the school's curriculum.
  • Information literacy instruction (as requested by faculty).
  • One-on-one research assistance with Library Director either in person or via Zoom.
  • Laser printers, photocopiers, and Chromebook charging stations available for student use.
