List of 7 frequently asked questions.

• When will students choose their courses?

  Course selections will be posted on the Eaglebrook Summer Semester website beginning late-April.  Directions will be on the website outlining the selection process. Registration for classes should be submitted to the Summer Semester office by June 5.

• How much homework will a student receive?

  Students will receive approximately thirty minutes of homework for each academic class. There will be enough study time on a daily basis for students to complete homework assignments. Faculty support will be available during the scheduled study hall periods if needed.

• Is a laptop computer required?

  Students find that a laptop computer is a useful tool, but they do not need to bring a computer to school. Eaglebrook’s Summer Semester will provide Chrome Books laptops for students to use while they are here.

• Are cell phones allowed on campus?

  Students are allowed to have cell phones and faculty expect cooperation with the cell phone policy, which will be sent to all students prior to the start of Summer Semester.

• Will Eaglebrook pick-up and drop-off students at the airport?

  Yes, however, we highly encourage parents to arrive with their son or daughter on the opening day of school, as it is both an exciting and important day to meet and make a connection with summer faculty. The School can make arrangements to put students on public transportation and act as chaperones for unaccompanied minors if parents require this service.
  
  Transportation is provided by Eaglebrook to and from Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut only.  The School will not assume the responsibility of traveling with students to Logan or Kennedy airports.

• When should students arrive at Eaglebrook on the first day of Summer Semester, July 7?

  Due to faculty meetings in the morning of Sunday, July 7 we ask that students arrive between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. 

• When do students depart on the last day of Summer Semester, Saturday, August 3?

  Students may depart on the evening of August 2, or as early as 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3. All students must be “off-campus” by noon on Saturday, August 3.
