JV Squash v. Bement

JV Squash squeeked out yet another victory on February 22, narrowly defeating Bement 6-5. Four of the eleven matches went all the way to five games, and those that did not were close nonetheless. Highlights include Michael Beit’s come from behind 5 game match and Henry Karmen-Touhy’s quick trouncing of his opponent. Perhaps most impressive was the sportsmanship on display. Even thought they are fierce rivals, the Brookies and Bement players have apparently developed friendships after meeting three times. Who knows, maybe these same players will meet again for the 2011-2012 season.
