Thirds Lacrosse v. Williston Northampton

The Thirds lacrosse team played Williston Northampton in a close game on Wednesday afternoon, ultimately losing by a final score of 8-6. Eaglebrook saw good sportsmanship and effort from the entire team, with many individuals making solid contributions, showing how much they've improved in a short period of time. Alan Kim made many key saves in goal, and his clears sparked our offensive attack. Ian Hurley, Juan Bolinaga, Santiago Miranda, and Merrick Holmes continued to work well as a defensive unit; they communicated well with each other and the midfield to make sure that all of the Williston attackers were well-marked. John Banker, Will Cochran, and Pablo Borgio were relentless when taking face-offs, and each won key possessions for our team. Tommy Litle and Jaewon Kwon displayed speed and poise in the midfield, and helped to get the ball down to Pablo Barroso, Joe Bouchard, Logan Armes and Rafa Rivera in our attacking end. There are many positives to take away from this game, such as better movement on attack and continued communication on defense, and also areas for us to work on in the coming days. We look forward to hosting Cardigan Mountain School this Saturday afternoon.
