Inside the dormitories exists a family environment in which boys live, work, and play with the same people who are their teachers and coaches. These men and women share their living rooms with the boys and can offer popcorn after sports; others bake cookies, and all are there to offer support and advice. Eaglebrook's teachers are caring adults with secure values. The close nurturing family spirit that exists between the house faculty and the students is a strength of the school and shapes life at Eaglebrook. At Eaglebrook, we believe that there are core skills that every middle school student should be familiar with, and many of Eaglebrook School's Core Skills
overlap with the curriculum in the dormitories.A Place to Study
In the dormitories, boys can learn effective study habits because they do their homework in their rooms with faculty supervision. During the study halls, teachers maintain an atmosphere free from distractions. Teachers are also on hand to answer questions and give extra help when needed. Day Students
At Eaglebrook, day students receive the same warmth and care that boarders enjoy. Day students are assigned to dormitories and have advisors
who include them in all school activities. They join committees, play on athletic teams, serve on the Student Council, and share in community service around the school. Because of the daily interaction among all boys, close friendships between day students and boarders result. Many visit in each other's homes on weekends and vacations.
