Patrollers Training in Advance of Season

Before the snow really begins to fly and the trails at the Easton Ski Area at Eaglebrook opens up, the student patrollers go through preseason training. Eaglebrook has its own ski patrol, made up primarily of students. On the last day of practice in 2017, these student patrollers put to use a diversity of skills culminating in a full backboard immobilization of a patient in a mock scenario. While we hope the skills are not called upon during the course of the season, this preparation ensures there will be many helpful hands supporting the faculty on the skill hill if called upon. Catch more athletic news at www.eaglebrook.org/athleticnews.
