Junior Varsity Tennis vs. Williston Northampton School

The JV Tennis squad opened their season against Williston Northampton on Wednesday. This was the first match for both schools this season. While nerves from either side could be expected, the boys were all great sports and seemed excited to be playing someone new. Eaglebrook claimed the doubles point with victories at the #2 and #3 spots. Williston managed a victory at the #1 singles, but it was costly as their #1 singles player experienced an injury preventing them from playing later. This actually may have been a deciding factor in the final result. The singles matches ended even at 3-3 with Eaglebrook victories at #6, #5, and #1. The final score of 4-3 was a tight victory for Eaglebrook.
