Varsity B Hockey v. Bishop's College

On Friday afternoon, Eaglebrook Varsity B hockey took on Bishops College in their first of three head to head games of the weekend, earning a 2-2 tie. The game was a tight-checking game with chances at both ends. Eaglebrook jumped out to an early 2-0 lead. A Will Knight shot took a deflection on goal and caught the BCS goaltender leaning the wrong way. Henry Marshall was credited with the assist.

Eaglebrook extended its lead in the second when Chuck Goldstein scored. Paddy Wakeham shot the puck towards net, Lukas Odermatt followed up the initial shot with a rebound, which landed open in the crease for Goldstein to poke home. BCS cut into the lead by the end of the period, however, when they pulled within a goal. An unfortunate series of penalties late in the third period allowed BCS the opportunity to sneak back into the game and earn a 2-2 tie. After the game, the students of Bishops College School and Eaglebrook Varsity B Hockey attended the UMass Amherst vs. UMass Lowell game at the Mullins Center in Amherst. It was a wonderful time for all the students.
