Varsity B Hockey v. Vermont Academy

On Friday, the Varsity B Hockey team earned its first win of the season, a 7-0 victory over Vermont Academy. Eaglebrook struck early in the first period, when Gus Walsh tipped home a Will Knight shot

from the point. The barrage continued less than a minute later, when Will Knight took a pass from Paddy Wakeham and stickhandled through the defense and put Eaglebrook in front. Just two minutes later, Brendan O'Connell gave Eaglebrook some breaking room when he converted a Chuck Goldstein pass. Jack Parsons played well in net, facing some tough shots and turning them all away to earn the shutout. Will Shaw played an excellent game, earning three assists, and Matt Hahn added two helpers of his own. Other goal scorers were Paddy Wakeham, Charlie Yorke, and Rodrigo Fonseca. Eaglebrook looks to improve on its young season with a league game on Saturday against Rectory.
