Varsity Lacrosse Update

Eaglebrook Varsity Lacrosse had a busy week in which they played three games in four days. On Wednesday the varsity team took on Deerfield Academy’s junior varsity team in a game that tested their focus, determination, and competitive spirit. Deerfield earned a goal quickly and sustained good pressure through out the game. Eaglebrook worked hard through out the game and tallied six goals against a strong DA squad. Eaglebrook remained disciplined despite a tough game and both Taylor Hahn and Gardner Imhoff shared time between the pipes. On Friday Eaglebrook earned another victory over Northfield Mount Herman. Scoring came from many different sources on the field, and the defensive end of the field saw great work from Joon Yang, Joon Lee, Liam Garrity-Rokous, Zak Masotta, and Brian Brown. Young players like Camil Blanchet, and Warren Lorenz stepped up and proved themselves on offense, in transition, as well as on the defensive end of the field. This was a good win for Eaglebrook, and earned the team momentum as they looked to play Kuper Academy on Saturday. In a 5-1 victory on Saturday, Eaglebrook took advantage of experience and team play in all areas of their game. Organized offense and stalwart defense typified the varsity team’s play as they earned a good win. A successful and busy week helped Eaglebrook gain momentum as they look to compete with Fessenden at Groton on Tuesday.
