Varsity Lacrosse v. Westminster

Eaglebrook stumbled for the first time this spring in an overtime loss to a balanced, determined Westminster team that matched Eaglebrook’s grinding style of play. Eaglebrook held the lead for much of the game, and went into the fourth quarter leading by three. Quick changes of momentum favored Westminster late in the game, and both sides traded scoring opportunities during the overtime period. Max Ouimet proved his dependability between the pipes, coming up with crucial saves in every quarter of the game giving his team a chance to win. Eaglebrook’s defense was disciplined and composed with Liam Garity-Rokous, Micheal Park, and Zach Phillips setting up a strong back three. Brian Chung, Derek Pratt, and Cory Latour rounded out the strong play at midfield. The game was hard fought, emotionally charged, and exciting; there were missed opportunities on both sides of the ball coupled with wonderful execution. Eaglebrook 7, Westminster 8.
