Varsity B Hockey v. Cardigan Mountain School

On Saturday, Eaglebrook went up to Cardigan Mountain School and earned a 2-2 tie. Eaglebrook struggled to get off the bus, coming out flat. An unfortunate bounce led to Cardigan's first goal. Cardigan extended its lead to 2-0 before Eaglebrook cut the lead off a Cam O'Connell goal. Henry Marshall put the puck on net and Cam O'Connell played the role of opportunist and converted the rebound. Eaglebrook found renewed energy in the second period and their efforts were rewarded with a beautiful tying goal. Chuck Goldstein outworked his defender to create a 2 on 1 opportunity. He waited for the goaltender and defender commited to the shot before slipping a beautiful pass across the crease to a streaking Will Shaw who converted the pass. Jack Parsons played well in the net and kept Cardigan from pulling ahead. Eaglebrook is 2-3-1 in the JBSA Hockey League and looking forward to a matchup with Rumsey on Monday.
