Eaglebrook School was founded in 1922 by Howard Gibbs as a private boarding and day school for boys in middle school. Learn about our school in Deerfield, Massachusetts then and now, and read about the Core Skills we think every boy should know.
At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
Eaglebrook was successful in its attempt to rebound on Saturday from a difficult loss to Avon on the previous Wednesday. Setting the tone for the game against Belmont Hill, Cammisa, Shannon, and Connors lead the team through out the game both on the field and off. In a closely contested game through out, 3-3 at the half, the captains maintained the focus and sportsmanship that the team needed late in the contest. Scoring came from Cammisa, Neugold, Connors, and Breen. All goals were the result of hard work and improved organization within the half-field offense. Selfless play and well-timed feeds caught Belmont Hill by surprise and helped Eaglebrook grab the momentum during key moments in the game. Defensively, Garrity-Rokous lead Joon Lee and Joon Yang as they continue to improve their slides and ability to adjust on defense. Gardner Imhoff seized the opportunity in net this weekend and ignited confidence and stability on the defensive end of the field. After Eaglebrook regained the lead in the third quarter they protected their lead through disciplined play and effective ball possession.
