Thirds Basketball v. Willie Ross School

The Thirds basketball game played Willie Ross School for the Deaf on Thursday, February 15. We played on a small court with low ceilings. It was a time period basketball court that had a lot of charm and history. Willie Ross was exceptionally well coached and the players responded to their coach. A few of their players leapt like gazelles and had the speed of them as well. Our players tried all game long to figure out how to bust out of their press, and we could come up with nothing. Charlie Chen was effective for a while at neutralizing their best player. Mason Edwards played with verve and intensity. Jack DBK grabbed a lot of rebounds.
