Heading into Parents' Weekend with a slew of tough losses, the outlook for the game was not particularly bright. But the Brookies managed to hold it together by scoring early and often against a rattled Kingswood squad to take a double-digit lead after one quarter of play. That was as close as the visitors got as the home hosts did as they pleased the rest of the way en route to their best win of the season thus far.

"We played not just one good half this time; we played well for an entire game," skipper Carlos Rios said after the game as his troops congratulated each other in celebrating the triumph with their family members.
