Varsity Football v. Cardigan Mountain School

The Eagles travelled to Canaan, N. H. to challenge the Cougars in their annual matchup. The team knew the task was a tall one, and the imposing Cardigan squad did not disappoint. The opening play demonstrated the hosts aerial capabilities, and fast strike offense, which scored 7 times on the day. The Eagles were not to be left off the scoreboard, posting two touchdowns on the day, with two more drives stalling on the doorstep. Without doubt the team continues to develop on both sides of the ball. While the long bus ride home helps separate them from the lopsided defeat, their attention now turns to welcoming their families for Saturday’s Country Fair game.
