Eaglebrook School was founded in 1922 by Howard Gibbs as a private boarding and day school for boys in middle school. Learn about our school in Deerfield, Massachusetts then and now, and read about the Core Skills we think every boy should know.
At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. Learn about the programs we offer at Eaglebrook, from athletics to arts.
At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
The Eaglebrook swim team traveled to the Deerfield Natatorium on Wednesday, February 8 for a quad meet with Deerfield, NMH, and Bement. Once again the Brookies showed their speed by winning every event excluding the diving; the team has no divers. Coming off of Winter Carnival break and an exciting victory against the Exeter Big Red, the Eaglebrook team was lead by Co-Captains Lim and Kenvin, winning two relays and producing personal best times in the 100 Freestyle and 500 Freestyle. Fifth Formers Tim Barry, Jack Sun, a personal best in the 100 breaststroke, and Andrew Chang continued to dominate their strokes winning two relays and individual events. Kevin Chang, Steven Gu, Declan Cullinane, and Marquis Wong also contributed fast swims in the relays and individual events. In leading off the final 400 free relay, Ted Oh became a member of the Sub Double Zero Club by swimming a nice 59.95 seconds and also a personal best time in the 50 Freestyle. Henry Wiemeyer, Andy Rymes, Qais Hijazi, Sean Meng, Felix Tsao, James Chen, Jason Lee, Harrison Graham, and Enrique Coliomodio also raced to personal best time in the sprint events. The Eaglebrook squad will race Macduffie School and Eagle Hill School at the Schwab family Pool on Saturday afternoon.
