Varsity Basketball v. Northfield Mount Hermon

Eaglebrook returned from their trip to NYC to host local rival NMH and Eaglebrook alum Willy Copeland. Despite some weary legs, the Eagles were able to get off to a quick start. Angelo Hunt grabbed rebound after rebound in the first few minutes and chipped in two points as well to help give the Brookies a six-point lead midway through the first half. The Eagles vaunted full court press wreaked havoc on the Hoggers, and Noah Cisse found his offensive rhythm scoring eight first half points, and giving Eaglebrook a 12 point cushion at halftime. The Hoggers made a move early in the second half, cutting Eaglebrook's lead to six, but big baskets by Robin Lin, Rodney Miller, and Isaiah Cyprien helped get the game back under control. The Brookies ran out the last two and half minutes of the game, and head into Friday's match up with Hillside School with a 38-30 victory over NMH.
