Swimming at Phillips Andover

The Eaglebrook Swimming and Diving team travelled to the hallowed halls of Phillips Andover on Saturday to challenge the Blue of Andover to a duel in the pool. The Eaglebrook boys were a bit wary of the challenge because they would be swimming against much older swimmers, the best JV team in the New England prep school league and Andover was the last team to take down the Brookies in a dual meet three years ago, a very rare loss during the stellar thirteen year Eaglebrook career of Coach Bo Tanner. Eaglebrook alums Tony Tan and Ben Janoschek greeted the team when they arrived. The Eaglebrook squad led the meet from the first 200 medley relay to the last 400 free relay. Eaglebrook won every event, but one, including the diving. The team was led by Will Eiamsakulrat, Westley Bartlett, Koji Kubo, Laith Hijazi, Stephen Gu, K.K. Paisarnpayak, Tim Rungsrithong, Andrew Lim, Matt Kenvin, Matt Zhou, Brian Bae, and divers Thomas Eglin and A Lo. The team will host Eagle Hill School on Wednesday for a return meet against a newly formed Eagle Hill School Team.
