Swimming v. Andover

The Eaglebrook swim team won against Andover JV for the first time at their home base. Some great swims, the foremost being Brandon Liao’s 200 IM where he broke the Eaglebrook record with a time of 2:08.03, previously held by Larsen Bidstrup '11. Brandon has set his sights on at least three more records before the end of the season. Harry Cathey became the newest member of the 00 club in the 100 freestyle with a time of 59.11. There were many close races, two involving Eaglebrook Alumni- Tim Rungsrithong of Eaglebrook squeaked out a win over Nick Faulkner '12 in the 100 Freestyle event by .02 seconds with a time of 54.32, a best time for Tim. There was also a tight 100-breaststroke race with Brandon Liao with a time of 1:06.41 touching out former Brookie Ryan Kim '11’s time of 1:06.51. Ryan Lee earned swimmer of the meet with a total 17% improvement.
