Eaglebrook School was founded in 1922 by Howard Gibbs as a private boarding and day school for boys in middle school. Learn about our school in Deerfield, Massachusetts then and now, and read about the Core Skills we think every boy should know.
At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. Learn about the programs we offer at Eaglebrook, from athletics to arts.
At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
EBS started this game with a bang, with four quick goals in the first 3 minutes of the game. Team Captain David Miccoli showed he is back in full force from his injury last weekend, scoring three of the first four goals with strong backhanded shots from the hole and continued his scoring streak with two more goals during the remainder of the game. Chris Rymes also continues to be a force in defense, never letting up in front of the net. Team Captains Brandon Liao and Matt Dulmaine won all four sprints at the beginning of each period of play; they have not once lost a sprint this entire season. Payten Herzig-Doherty continues to improve in goal, he has learned he doesn’t need to back down to the larger stronger players, which has earned him the game ball for his beastly defense, and skillful choices when initiating plays from the goal. This was the best game I have seen this team play. They were making good passes, slowing the game down, and taking advantage of the opposing teams mistakes. The team record now stands at three wins and two losses for the season; let’s keep the streak going.
