Eaglebrook School was founded in 1922 by Howard Gibbs as a private boarding and day school for boys in middle school. Learn about our school in Deerfield, Massachusetts then and now, and read about the Core Skills we think every boy should know.
At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
The Junior Reds played Kingswood-Oxford in perfect fall weather conditions. At first, Kingswood-Oxford looked big and imposing. Both teams had a number of shots on goal when finally 15 minutes into the half, Connor Theriault put in the first goal. Five minutes later on a corner kick with a scramble in front of the Reds goal, the ball slid in off a Red earning Kingswood-Oxford a goal. The Reds fought back with a goal from Jun Park to Jack Theirault. The half ended with the Reds ahead.
In the second half, the Reds began to dominate the game. The defense led by Charlie Park, Hayden Dann, and Noah Burstein sent the ball up to the midfield of Aidan Zecha, Charlie Whitelaw, and Alex Choi. Gordon Cummings had an assist to Connor Theirault. Alex Wong put one in from a direct kick outside the box and Gordon put in a final goal with his left foot. Garrett Moe and Jack Theriault both played well in the goal and on the field. Coaches Chaput and LaPointe continue to be impressed with the Reds ability to work together and move the ball around the field.
