What does bright sunshine on our faces and strong winds from south mean to the JVA soccer team? Probably not much. But, these were the game time elements that may or may not have fueled the energy to for our boys to effectively change fields, make diagonal runs, and finish plays, especially in the second half.
Valley View proved tough in the first half, holding Eaglebrook to only one goal, but began to fold in the second half allowing five more. Although Valley View posed an early threat with a quick second half goal that was not enough to deter our sunny faces. Goal scorers were Umberto with two, Galperin, Garza, Huggett, Alvarez and finally Prado.
The defensive unit remains strong with excellent anticipation, coverage for each other and effective communication.
