Golf v. Deerfield Academy and Bement School

On Saturday, April 16 the Varsity Golf team had its opening match with Deerfield Academy and The Bement School. The match was held at the Greenfield Country Club, Deerfield's home course. Eaglebrook came in second with Brandon Wu shooting a 38 for the low score of the day. Tanaka Kentaro, Jun-O Park, Federico Garza, Jacob Zaranek, and Manuel Gonzalez all played well, even though the conditions were less than ideal. In fact, they battled through cold winds, sleet and opening match nerves to produce a strong overall effort. Alumnus Cam O'Connell ’10, playing for Deerfield, was second behind Brandon with a score of 42.
