At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
On Thursday September 16, after one day of practice as a team, the 2010 Junior Blue soccer team traveled to South Hadley to scrimmage Hopkins Middle School. With limited practice time, the Junior Blue squad did not disappoint their coaches by giving a fine performance against a very strong Hopkins team. With one goal taken back because of an off side call Eaglebrook ended the first half tied with Hopkins at 0 - 0. Ten minutes into the second half Connor Edwards opened the season with the team's hard earned and well deserved first goal to give the young Eagles the lead. With the game winding down Davis Chase took advantage of a break away opportunity to secure the win with the team's second goal. Rain, wind, and cool weather did not affect either team as both teams appeared eager to bring home a win. The season opening game will be played at home on Friday September 17 against Granby Middle School, a traditionally tough and well-coached team. Game time is set to begin at 3:30pm. While the final roster for this years Junior Blue team has yet to be finalized the team as of this writing consists of 12 players. The players are: Connor Edwards, Chase Davis, Parker Loftus, Patterson Malcolm, Manuel Gonzalez, Victor Dubinsky, Sage Bailin, Richard Shim, Jeff Leeds, Raul Castells, Jacob Zarenak, and Brian Davis.
