Ad Libs Sing at Fenway

It was an exciting day for the Eaglebrook Ad Libs, the school’s Sixth Form a capella group, on Wednesday, May 12. They traveled to Boston, Massachusetts to perform the National Anthem before the Boston Red Sox game in front of a sold out crowd of 37,198 fans at historic Fenway Park. Leo Kan, Eaglebrook’s Choral Director had this to say about the event, “We were surrounded all around by the sights, smells, and sounds of the historic baseball stadium - the impeccable grass and dirt, and players warming up on the field. When it was finally the Ad Libs turn to sing, they handled themselves with professional poise and sang to a very enthusiastic ovation. They should also be proud of the way they represented Eaglebrook School." The 2009-2010 Eaglebrook Ad Libs are: Steve Arnold, Sam Barback, Davy Colby, Willy Copeland, Amani Core, CK Kim, Harry Lee, John Lee, Joon Woo Lee, Ian Lemay, Harold Roberts, and Stephen Yang. Watch the Ad Libs sing and look at some photos from their time at Fenway Park.

Growing up a die-hard Yankee fan, it was hard seeing my son on the field at Fenway Park but you did a great job and you even brought the Red Sox bad luck since they lost the game. Way to go!

They sounded great, carried themselves with poise, so well behaved, it was a memorable experience to see my nephew and his choir sing at America's Most Beloved Ballpark ... GO Ad Libs and GO SOX!!!
