Varsity B Hockey v. Berkshire School

Varsity B Hockey traveled to Berkshire for a hockey game on Saturday afternoon. The team got on the ice excited to culminate a season of hard work with a victory for their VI formers' last game. After a slow start by both teams, Eaglebrook jumped out on top in the first period with an unassisted goal by Chuck Goldstein. In the second, Remy Levine turned away a slew of Berkshire opportunities, yielding only one goal in the stanza. Brendan O'Connell knocked home a rebound off Gus Walsh's shot to give Eaglebrook the lead going into the third period. Unfortunately, Eaglebrook's luck ran out in the final period, as we found ourselves in the penalty box and our attack often got caught behind the play, resulting in some odd man breaks for the opposition. Levine staved off a heavy attack from Berkshire, but they were able to pull away with 4 unanswered goals in the third, including an empty netter as time expired. Although it wasn't the result they wanted today, our guys went out and played hard this season and should be proud of their efforts on the ice over the course of their time at Eaglebrook. Hats off to our VI formers for a great season and career at EBS... Remy Levine, Will Knight, Lukas Odermatt, Cam O'Connell, Cooper Hemphill, Zeke Emerson, Henry Marshall, Josh Roemer, and Charlie Yorke.
