On Saturday, January 9 Eaglebrook lost a 4-2 defeat at the hands of the Berkshire Bruins. Eaglebrook came out flat and conceded a 3-0 deficit before the end of the first period. It was a deep hole but Eaglebrook worked to dig their way out of it. There was no panic and the Eaglebrook players began to claw their way back in. It began with a shot from Charlie Yorke from the point developed eyes and found its way through the well-set traffic in front and into the back of the net. Eaglebrook pulled within one goal when Teito Kokubo chipped the puck towards goal from a bad angle and again the puck somehow found its way into the net, Eaglebrook had pulled within 3-2. Unfortunately the 3-goal margin was too much to bear as Berkshire scored another goal in the third to pull away, 4-2. Remy Levine played solidly in net. Eaglebrook resumes league play on Monday with their second game against Hillside School.
