Varsity B Basketball v. Eagle Hill School

The Varsity B basketball team visited Eagle Hill School on Thursday afternoon. In their second game of the season the Eaglebrook squad registered their first victory.

A great start took Eaglebrook out to a lead allowing everyone to play ample minutes. Willy Copeland led the team with 15 points including 7 of 8 from the free throw line. Matt Knaus was good for two three pointers and four other players got on the board as well. Ethan Peterson-New was very strong on the inside and Harry Lee also grabbed several rebounds. Kobe Constant was the primary point guard with Knaus, Andrew Chen, Robert Beit, Brandon Chen, and Jae Goan Park also contributing guard duties. Stephen Wang was active, as always, grabbing rebounds and driving with little concern for anyone's safety (including his own). Hoa Han Xu and Garrick Gu provided muscle underneath and allowed very few second chances for Eagle Hill.

Sportsmanship appeared exceptional from the sidelines and the hosts were very welcoming. Thanks to Eagle Hill and congratulations to the Eaglebrook players on their victory.
