Jason Wu '98 Designs Inauguration Gown

Jason Wu '98, has received attention from around the world as the designer of Michelle Obama’s inaugural gown which will be donated to the Smithsonian Institute. He also designed a dress which Mrs. Obama wore for her interview with Barbara Walters. Jason was an avid art student while he was at Eaglebrook, and he also played the piano. French teacher Sally Laubin, who taught Jason, remembers him well. He made her a Japanese doll, and she had him sign it because, as she says, "I knew he was going to be famous someday."
