Varsity Hockey v. Belmont Hill

The Varsity Ice Hockey Team made the trip to the outskirts of Boston to take on the Hilltoppers of Belmont Hill to take part in this year’s first installment of what has become one of the team's best rivalries.  Belmont took advantage of the Eagles bus legs and quickly broke open a 2-0 lead.  The teams skated back and forth, traded a couple goals each and Belmont lead after two periods, 4-2.  The third period was fiercely contested.  Eaglebrook scored two goals to tie the game early, but Belmont fought back to take the lead.  Eaglebrook again responded, only to have Belmont answer back again.  When all was said and done, it was Belmont Hill 6 Eaglebrook 5.  The Eagles are looking forward to the rematch in February under the cozy confines of Alfond Arena.
