Mountain Club and Hunyak Award Winner

Sixty percent of the Eaglebrook student body participated in a Mountain Club trip this year, which means that 167 students took the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy what the Eaglebrook campus and the surrounding areas have to offer. Every year Jack Shea, Eaglebrook’s Mountain Club director, awards the “Hunyak” award to the student who best reflects the spirit of the Mountain Club. This year’s award went to Satchel Douglas ’08 who in his time at Eaglebrook participated in many Mountain Club events. The Mountain Club offers a variety of events in the fall and spring terms.
