Varsity Lacrosse v. Cardigan Mountain

In the first of a two game series with Cardigan, Eaglebrook capitalized on key possessions and executed in transition early in the game to take the lead and never looked back. Eaglebrook came out of the first quarter on top, but Cardigan held even during the second. With a score of 4-1 at the half, Cardigan looked to close the gap but the strong defensive play of Zack Phillips, Michael Park, Liam Garrity-Rokous, and Jem Wilner held the Cougar attack from gaining ground. Trey Camissa registered a hat trick while Penn Sednaoui, Jimmy Bitter, and Reed Kennedy helped in the scoring department. The game was hard-fought with many chances on both sides of the ball. Opportunity favored Eaglebrook, and they were able to weather the pressure defense of the Cougars late in the game. Eaglebrook 8, Cardigan 3.
