JV A Baseball v. Greenfield Middle School

The JVA baseball showed some significant improvements yesterday, but mental lapses cost the team a chance to beat a strong opponent. The team's fielding has improved considerably over the course of the season, and they only had two errors in the game. Second basemen Taylor Hartwright and Peter Stobierski made about ten good plays between them. Strong relief pitching by James Gould kept the team in the game. The team's hitting approach has also improved, and they tallied six hits, including two by Alex Paolo. Unfortunately, both on the bases and in the field, a few mental mistakes cost the team several baserunners and led to runs for Greenfield. Now that the team's physical play has come around, they are working on making better decisions in order to prepare for a strong finish to the season.
