At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
EAGLEBROOK PLANT THE SEEDS FOR A GREAT SEASON AT OLD FARMS. In the traditional opening match of the new season, Eaglebrook Varsity Tennis took its young but talented team to play against Avon's JV team on April 2. It was clear from the opening doubles matches that Eaglebrook was a much stronger team. Eaglebrook won all three matches easily, with Ryo Kono and Julian Fialkow playing exceptionally well at the number 2 spot. The singles matches were similar, with number 1 player Pun Saropala dispatching his very talented opponent 8-0. Hayden Dunham, who played at the number 3 spot, was equally impressive. Julian Fialkow and Adam Beek also recorded good wins. Ryo Kono continued his excellent first performance for the school, winning 8-4 and collecting the Man of the match award. Lorenzo Mendoza lost 8-6, but he should be proud as he was down 5-0 before mounting a thrilling comeback. This win was pleasing and bodes well for the rest of the season, provided the sun makes an appearance soon.
