At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
The Varsity Hockey team played Academie St. Louis Varsity Team from Quebec, Canada over Winter Carnival weekend. The game series between Eaglebrook and ASL was tied at 1-1 with Eaglebrook winning two years ago and Academie St. Louis winning last year. Both teams were ready for another win to pull ahead in the series. The first period started off tight with everyone fighting for every shot on net to get any goals they could. The period would go back and fourth and would soon end in a 0-0 tie. Mid-way through the second period Academie St. Louis scored from a man in front to make it 1-0 and got themselves on the board. Eaglebrook would hang on with a few big saves. Academie St. Louis would some come up with 2 more goals to finish off the period 3-0. Feeling the pressure, Eaglebrook came out hot and kept the puck in the ASL’s defensive end for a good portion of the beginning of the third period making it look as if they were going to come back. Later in the period, ASL scored to make it 4-0, but Eaglebrook would not let down, scoring to make it 4-1. The final buzzer would score resulting in a 5-1 loss for Eaglebrook.
