At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
The Junior Blues, on a beautiful fall afternoon, went down to Uppvall Field on Wednesday, October 3 to play Williston Northampton. After a tough game against Frontier Regional Middle School the day before which ended in a 1 to 1 tie the Blues were looking to get back in the win column against Williston. Perhaps our stongest performance of the year the Blues got off to a quick start by scoring in the first minute of opening play. A quick start was exactly what the Blues were looking for as the offense had been sluggish the previous two games. Gus Walsh ’11( Phoenix, AZ) had a breakout game scoring 5 tallies and finishing the game by preserving the shutout in goal. Will Norris ’10 (Florence, MA) and Cooper Hemphill ’10 (Gill, MA) played well and clearly contributed to the offense throughout the afternoon. Lucy Chase ’10 (Deerfield, MA) had an outstanding game in the defensive end of the field as did Lauren Stobierski ’10(Deerfield, MA )at the left midfield position. The Blues are starting to come together as a team and the team is looking forward to their home game against Pioneer on Tuesday October 9. Currently their record stands at: 3 wins - 0 losses- and 2 ties.
