Varsity Baseball Beats Cardigan Behind Quality Pitching, Timely Hitting

DEERFIELD, Mass. – May 18, 2024 – Facing a competitive Cardigan squad on their home field on Saturday, Varsity Baseball beat the Cougars 7-3, pulling away in a game that started as a closely contested pitchers’ duel.

Eaglebrook led 3-0 over the first innings behind strong pitching before successive walks followed by timely Cardigan hitting allowed the Cougars to even the score 3-3.
 
Strong relief pitching and hitting in the final two innings allowed the Brookies to pull away 7-3.
