Eaglebrook School was founded in 1922 by Howard Gibbs as a private boarding and day school for boys in middle school. Learn about our school in Deerfield, Massachusetts then and now, and read about the Core Skills we think every boy should know.
At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. Learn about the programs we offer at Eaglebrook, from athletics to arts.
At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”

Proudest Achievement? Watching my children grow into confident, kind, and remarkable human beings. I couldn't be more proud of them both.
And work-related; after each successful event, you get a sense of pride for all that we were able to achieve with such a rockstar team. The smiles on the alumni, parents, and grandparents’ faces make all of the hard work worth it. You get a complete recharge after every event. If I've helped make that trip to campus special, I couldn't ask for more.

Movie you would recommend?Maudie directed by Aisling Walsh.

Best Advice Ever Received? Never let your nerves stop you from accomplishing great things or from having fun.
Why Eaglebrook? I get to drive to this beautiful campus each day with my daughter and before her with my son. I watched my son learn how to fly fish from my office window that overlooked the pond. My home is full of my daughter's artwork. They both found successes in the arts, languages, and sports that they wouldn't have had anywhere else. The entire Eaglebrook community is one big family, and that is why I chose Eaglebrook.
What are your interests/hobbies? My husband and I love home renovations. There is always a new project going on in our home. As a family, we love to do weekly hikes and get outdoors.
