Fall 2019 Spirit Week

The Eaglebrook Student Council sponsored Spirit Week this past week. The Student Council members decided on a few different themes for the Fall 2019 Spirit Week. Monday was Advisee Day, where each advisee group had a theme. Tuesday was Twin Day, where students dressed to match with a friend or a group of friends. Wednesday was Pink Day,  where everyone dressed in various shades of pink. On Thursday, students wore their Halloween costumes. Similar to last year, the most popular costume was animal onesies. On Friday, the theme was Dress Down Day. Everyone was asked by the Community Outreach Committee to donate $1 in order to dress down. The donations went to Rays of Hope, Adopt a Family of Franklin Country, and Books Between Bars.

Spirit Week is a great opportunity for the school community to show their school spirit and enlighten the community before the last few weeks of the trimester. Student Council President Ryan McHugh said, “Spirit week this year was a great success. It is a great way to step away from the classroom dress and show some school pride because the most important part of boarding school for most of us is having a strong sense of school pride. With everyone involved, faculty, students, and the administration, it was a great week.”

Eaglebrook’s next Spirit Week will be in February 2020. See all photos from Spirit Week on the Media Gallery, www.eaglebrook.org/MediaGallery.
