Varsity Football v. Frontier

The Eagles made a short trip south to challenge Frontier to a battle for the pigskin. Having spent the last week addressing fundamental skills that had been exposed in the season opener, the coaches were excited to see how the team had grown. On both sides of the ball, the Eagles showed improvement, and flexibility. A reshuffling of offensive positions and plays proved productive, and delivered three touchdowns in the first half. The defense was not to be shutout, and scored on a recovered fumble. All players contributed, and many played multiple positions as the young team exponentially increased their experience. The team enjoyed celebrating by singing the Hurrah as the returned under the stone bridge. This Saturday the Eagles will travel to New Hampshire to take on Cardigan Mountain School.
