Thirds Soccer v. Cardigan Mountain School

Eaglebrook's Thirds soccer team won 8-2 on Saturday afternoon against Cardigan Mountain School. Eaglebrook came out with a great deal of energy, scoring twice in the first minute and a half. Three more goals throughout the half and Eaglebrook felt comfortable at halftime giving players a chance to play unfamiliar positions, mixing up our offense and defense, and allowing our keeper some time in the open field. The second half was much more even and Cardigan scored two nice goals of their own to Eaglebrook's three. All in all it was a fun and spirited game. Thirds plays twice this coming week—away on Wednesday and home on Friday.
