Brandon Wu '12 is often recognized as Eaglebrook’s most accomplished alumni golfer and rightfully so. He was the senior captain of a national championship team at Stanford in 2019 and made U.S. national team appearances in the Walker and Arnold Palmer Cups. As a professional, Brandon became a member of the PGA Tour for the 2021-2022 season and has participated in the U.S. Open, PGA, and British Open major championships.
Within the Eaglebrook community, Brandon is remembered as a bright, motivated, and inquisitive student whom teachers enjoyed having in their class. Brandon entered Eaglebrook’s Fourth Form in 2009. His overall athletic ability and future potential in the game of golf were already apparent. He played football and was a standout swimmer. On the Brookie golf team, coaches lauded his leadership as much as his play.
Brandon had a well-rounded experience at Eaglebrook. He enjoyed the outdoor spaces on campus and was a reader. Like the other boys, Brandon participated in drawing, painting, stone carving, and woodworking. He was recognized in the dorms and around campus for his willingness to help the younger boys. Brandon served as a proctor and was said to have a unique calming effect on his classmates. He went on to hold various leadership positions including being elected to Student Council.
We are so proud of Brandon and look forward to seeing what comes next for him.
