Eaglebrook School has a faculty of 74 men and women, many of whom have young, school-aged children of their own. Classes average between eight to twelve students, and teachers help each boy establish sound study habits and set standards for quality work.
Eaglebrook's faculty have chosen to focus on junior boarding school education for boys. Our teachers have the skills to make learning fun and engaging for middle school boys while supporting them with the structure and guidance they need. They recognize where boys are in their social, emotional, and intellectual development and appreciate them for who they are.

    Biography
     
    Sean Forys joined Eaglebrook in the Summer of 2023 as the Associate Director of Admissions. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College in 2007 and spent 10 years working in the admissions offices at Springfield College and Yale University's School of the Environment. He lives in Longmeadow, MA with his wife and two children and enjoys spending as much time with them as he can. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, hiking, biking, and skiing as much as possible in the winter.

    Biography
     
    Emily arrived at Eaglebrook in 2014 and now serves as Associate Director of Admissions. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is sharing with prospective families the many ways students grow at Eaglebrook. She especially enjoys talking about the warm guidance of faculty, the balance of work and play, and the close-knit community that develops in the dorms. Getting to know a student during the admissions interview and discovering what excites them is one of the most rewarding parts of her work. She also greatly appreciates traveling and speaking about Eaglebrook with prospective students and families at events throughout the U.S. and abroad.
     
    With a master’s degree in Piano Performance from Florida State University, Emily remains active in the Music Department, where she teaches piano. She especially enjoys working with beginning pianists and watching the quick progress they make. Her background in residential life, including her work at the University of Wisconsin and her experience as a former Dorm Head at Eaglebrook, has made the dorm an especially meaningful part of her work. As an out-of-dorm advisor, there is always a Saturday evening party on the horizon, and she loves staying connected with her advisees long after they graduate from Eaglebrook.
     
    Emily also serves as a board member of the Deerfield Cultural Council. She is a huge fan of Eaglebrook pancakes and enjoys studying and practicing her novice Japanese skills with students. Originally from Wisconsin, Emily continues to explore all the charm of New England, always on the lookout for the next great coconut latte or almond croissant.

    Biography
     
    Tim joined the Eaglebrook faculty in the summer of 2018. He is the Associate Director of Admissions, Assistant Director of Athletics, and teaches 9th grade History. In addition, Tim is the head coach of the Varsity hockey team and Assistant Coach of the Varsity lacrosse team. He lives in Kostecki House while advising in Halstead with his dog Yazhi. After attending Eaglebrook, Tim graduated from Governor’s Academy and he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology in 2015 from Widener University in Chester, PA. Before returning to Eaglebrook, he worked at The Governor’s Academy, where he served as head boys’ lacrosse coach, assistant hockey and football coach, taught world history, U.S. history and marine science, and worked in the Dean of Students’ office to coordinate and facilitate student activities. In his downtime, Tim enjoys hunting, fly fishing, foraging, and cooking.
