Country Fair 2021

Join us October 15 & 16!

You are invited to Eaglebrook School's annual Country Fair, held this year on October 15 & 16. The fair coincides with the first Parents’ Weekend of the 2021-2022 school year. One highlight of the weekend is the concession stands run by the students Friday afternoon down on Memorial Field.

*For Country Fair Weekend, Eaglebrook School requires that all guests be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and wear masks in all campus buildings. It is recommended that each student have two (2) vaccinated guests attend classes. All other guests, however, are permitted at all outdoor activities and events during Country Fair Weekend.

    Sixth Form Students & Parents with Leif Riddington, Director of Secondary School Advising, and Ruth Koenigsbauer, Associate Director of Secondary School Advising. They'll be joined by the following panel members: Miles Bailey, Dean of Admissions at Westminster School; JP Burlington, Director of Strategic Recruitment at Millbrook School; Charles Davis, Dean of Admission & Financial Aid at Deerfield Academy.

    *Students may check out with their parents after their last obligation on Saturday. Underform Boarding Students must return to campus by 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19. Sixth Form Boarding Students must return by 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21. There will be no classes on Monday, October 18, and Tuesday, October 19.
  • Sunday, October 17

    Faculty are available for conferences on Sunday and Monday. Please make appointments directly with teachers if needed.
  • Monday, October 18

    This is a free day for students remaining on campus. No classes will be held. Day Students do not have to come to school.
  • Tuesday, October 19

    This is a free day for students remaining on campus. No classes will be held. Day Students do not have to come to campus. Third, Fourth, and Fifth Form Boarding Students should return to campus by 8:00 p.m. Sixth Form students should return to campus by 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21.

General Information

REFRESHMENTS & PARENT SOCIAL GATHERING: Will be available under tent on Gates Quad throughout the weekend. 

DIGITAL SIGNAGE: In the case of last-minute changes to this weekend's schedule, please refer to the Digital Signage located in the Learning Center, Sports Center, Gibbs Dining Hall, and all dorms for the most updated version.

100th ANNIVERSARY CAMPAIGN & FUTURE NEEDS: Dining Hall, Programming, Sustainability, and Athletics. Please stop by the tent on Gates Quad throughout the weekend. 

COUNTRY FAIR CONCESSIONS: Friday: 2:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Memorial Field and Football Field

BOOK FAIR: The library will be hosting an online book fair. Please stop by the library throughout the weekend. 

SWITCHBOARD: Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., and Monday & Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

BUSINESS OFFICE: Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. & Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Alumni – especially those in the area – are invited to join us for an afternoon of fall fun on Friday, October 15, from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. on Memorial Field. Those who are unable to visit on Friday, are invited to join us on Saturday to show your Brookie spirit. Cheer on Eaglebrook at various games on Saturday, October 16. The action begins at 11:00 a.m. and will run throughout the afternoon. No registration is required for either day, but we ask that alumni do not enter campus buildings, and portable restrooms are situated around campus. There will also be a reception tent with refreshments on Memorial Field.
